Your First Visit to Our Shreveport Practice

Yes, there will be paperwork! An unfortunate necessity in our busy worlds. We will help you fill it out as quickly as possible, but as thorough as necessary. You may download and print the initial package of forms, complete them prior to your initial visit and save lots of time. Next, you will watch an educational video to inform and prepare you for your first real visit with the doctor.

Dr. Sino will take a complete oral history. If she feels that she can help with your problem, we will move forward with an orthopedic exam and X-rays if necessary. Finally, you will complete your visit with physical therapy. The goal is to allow you to start to relax and loosen up for your first adjustment, which usually happens on the second visit following your Report of Findings.

The overall time that it typically takes to complete your first visit varies from one hour to an hour and a half depending on the length of time it takes you to complete your initial paperwork.

Dr. Diane Asks some important questions of interest to Shreveport residents - Chiropractor Shreveport Dr. Diane Asks...

Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
Where do most Shreveport residents get their first vertebral subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Shreveport newborn.
